BlogRush is Free blog syndication network, developed and brought to you by John Reese. A widget is placed onto your blog using the suppled code and it will display headlines from blogs on the blogrush network in the same subject category.

The goal is to direct traffic and focused readers to your blog. Although there are similar types of services available, BlogRush comes with some interesting twists. You earn “syndication credits” every time your widget embedded blog is loaded and syndicated amongst other blog owners in the same category who has a blogrush widget. For example if your blog has 200 page views, then your headlines will be distributed on a 1:1 ratio on other blogs using a blogrush widget. This distribution goes 10 levels deep.

This is a good idea to get additional traffic, but there are a few immediate setbacks. First, the widget is available only in black and at a certain size, approximately 175 x 400. This one size fits all may not be suitable for all blogs. Also, although your headlines are displayed on the widget, unless it is prominently displayed on the blog, no one is going to click on the link.
